This half-hour documentary profiles the lives of five gay and lesbian youths who represent a wide cross-section of cultures and backgrounds. Speaking for Ourselves focuses on coming to terms with self-identity, harassment in schools, familial acceptance and examines the multitude of challenges facing gay and lesbian youth.
